DoohClick and leading LED manufacturer Absen have joined forces to help advance the industry’s sustainability agenda.
The two companies will work together where possible to help media owners and operators establish efficient, dynamic networks which set better standards in reducing OOH’s carbon footprint and protecting the environment.
The objective is to help media owners and operators to choose energy efficient OOOH networks which are low-carbon, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly to the cities and districts where they operate.
Ross Burling, Absen’s industry development director for OOH and sports. said: “Absen have been manufacturing LED for the last 22 years, researching and developing specific technologies to deliver a product portfolio best suited for industries such as the OOH market. DoohClick and Absen have a common goal, to deliver the best solution for OOH installations. We look forward to working with DoohClick on future opportunities.”
DoohClick chief commercial officer Mark Bracey said: “Developing a robust, high performance, efficient DOOH network is one of the most important investments landlords and operators make. Mistakes are expensive and wrong decisions with regards to hardware and software will affect revenue performance.
“Sustainability is top of the agenda for advertisers and this is increasingly influencing share of media spend. The aim of our informal affiliation with Absen is to help OOH landlords and DOOH media owners procure and create energy efficient out of home networks which exceed industry expectations and address sustainability goals.”
